- Moved to the United States from Nigeria with his family at the age of 10.
- Graduated from Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, N.C. (2012).
- Graduated from Notre Dame in December of 2016 with a degree in accounting. His brother, Julian, became a freshman on Notre Dame's defensive line in 2016.
