- Selected by the Lions in the first round (28th overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.
- First interior defensive lineman Detroit has selected in the first round of Draft since 2011.

- Played in 51 games (25 starts) at Ohio State, producing 136 total tackles (56 solo), 28.0 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, 10 pass defenses, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
- 2024: Appeared and started in all 13 games, totaling 46 tackles (16 solo), 10 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one pass defense to help lead the team to a CFP National Championship victory.
