CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
- 2022 PFWA All-Rookie Team
- Tied for the lead among all NFL rookies in 2022 by producing at least one tackle for loss in eight games. His eight total tackles for loss tied for the third-most among NFL rookies.
- Led all NFL rookies with 12 tackles for loss or no gain in 2022 (per PFF).
- Ranked sixth among NFL rookies with 83 total tackles in 2022.
- Was one-of-four NFL rookies to total at least eight tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and one fumble recovery in 2022.
- Recorded his first-career sack and his first-career fumble recovery in Week 8 vs. Miami (10/30/22).
- Became Detroit's first rookie selected in the sixth round-or-later to start in Week 1 of his same Draft year since 1987.
- Joined the Lions as a sixth-round selection (188th overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma State.
COLLEGE:
- Played five seasons at Oklahoma State (2017-21), totaling 408 tackles, 32.0 tackles for loss, 13 forced fumbles, 7.5 sacks and four fumble recoveries in that span. Since 2005, his 13 forced fumbles rank as the fourth-most in the FBS. He began his tenure at the school as a safety before converting to linebacker prior to the 2019 season.
