TWENTYMAN: 5 stats that stand out following Lions' Week 3 victory

The Detroit Lions are fresh off their most impressive victory of the season so far, a 38-30 road win in Baltimore in which the Lions got another complementary performance from all three phases of their football team.

Here are five stats that stood out from Detroit's performance:

1. Number: 80.2

What it means: The average grade by Pro Football Focus for Detroit's starting offensive line.

Twentyman: Detroit dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the football but particularly offensively as the Lions rushed for 224 yards and allowed zero sacks of quarterback Jared Goff.

Penei Sewell (98.7) and Tate Ratledge (91.4) were the ring leaders upfront for the Lions with terrific individual performances. It was the best game of Ratledge's young NFL career. Goff was hit five times total in the contest and Baltimore managed just eight pressures on the evening.

2. Number: 34

What it means: Total number of pressures applied by Detroit's defense against Baltimore.

Twentyman: That's an impressive number. They recorded sacks by Al-Quadin Muhammad (2.5), Aidan Hutchinson (1), Derrick Barnes (1), Alex Anzalone (0.5), Jack Campbell (1) and Trevor Nowaske (1).

Hutchinson led Detroit with nine total pressures followed by Anzalone (7), Muhammad (5), Barnes (3) and Tyleik Williams (3). Hutchinson set a franchise record with his 18th straight game with at least one quarterback hit.

3. Number: 151

What it means: Total rushing yards Monday night for veteran running back David Montgomery.

Twentyman: Montgomery rushed 12 times for 151 yards (12.6 avg.) and two touchdowns while adding one reception for 13 yards for 164 scrimmage yards on the night. Those are single-game career highs in both rushing yards and scrimmage yards.

He's the first Lions player to produce a game with 150 rushing yards and two touchdowns since James Stewart in 2002. He and Jahmyr Gibbs form the best running back duo in the NFL and this week proved either one can go off on any given Sunday (or Monday ).

4. Number: 3-for-3

What it means: Detroit's offense converted all three of their fourth down attempts in the contest.

Twentyman: The first was a 4th & 3 at the Baltimore 11-yard line on a 7-yard pass to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. It led to a Gibbs touchdown two plays later. The second was the first play of the fourth quarter on a 4th & 1 from Baltimore's 4-yard line. That play resulted in another Gibbs touchdown. The final attempt was a 4th & 2 at the Detroit 49-yard line with less than two minutes remaining in the game. Goff completed a 20-yard pass to St. Brown to the Baltimore 31-yard line. Montgomery scored on a 31-yard run on the next play to seal the win.

Campbell has an aggressive mindset with his offense on fourth down and all three conversions played a huge role in Monday's win.

5. Number: 90

What it means: Number of points the Lions have scored in wins over Chicago (52) and Baltimore (38) the last two weeks.

Twentyman: Detroit's offense is on some kind of roll right now under the direction of offensive coordinator John Morton. Not only have the Lions recorded 90 points the last two weeks, but they've generated more than 900 yards of total offense as well. We must go all the way back to 1950 for the last time the Lions generated two straight games scoring at least 90 points and generating 900 yards of total offense.
