Quotable: "Really proud of the guys," Bears head coach Ben Johnson told chicagobears.com after their latest win. "Thought they did a phenomenal job just responding. We were decimated in certain areas. The easy thing is to say, 'Woe is me,' and our guys didn't do that. They just stepped up and kept battling through. It happens to most teams each season, too, where your depth gets tested, and it just so happens, it was this week for us."
Twentyman: The Bears avoided having to play the Aaron Rodgers-led Steelers (fractured hand) and were able to do enough to get another win, their fourth in a row and eighth in their last nine. The Bears were without six starters on defense and lost three more in the game but still found a way to win. Credit to them. We'll really start to see what this Bears team is made of the next two weeks with road games in Philadelphia and Green Bay.

GREEN BAY
Record: 7-3-1
Week 12 result: Green Bay 23, Minnesota 6
Offensive rank: 13th (338.9)
Scoring offense: 13th (23.9)
Defensive rank: 4th (278.7)
Scoring defense: 5th (18.4)
NFC playoff picture: No. 6
Green Bay's playoff probability percentage stands at 78 percent.
Quotable: "It was a dominant defensive performance, which allowed us to play the way we played," Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told packers.com after Sunday's win over the Vikings.
Twentyman: The Vikings mustered just 145 total yards while going 2-of-9 on third down against a Packers' defense that comes into Thursday's matchup against the Lions ranked top five in the NFL in both total and scoring defense. It's a formidable unit as Detroit found out Week 1 in the loss in Green Bay. Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy was sacked five times and intercepted twice, and had just a 34.2 passer rating Sunday against the Packers. This is an elite Packers defense with the addition of Micah Parsons, who recorded his 10th sack of the season Sunday. Detroit's offense will have to be on point at home Thursday against a versatile and deep Packers defensive unit.

DETROIT
Record: 7-4
Week 12 result: Detroit 34, New York Giants 27 (OT)
Offensive rank: 4th (378.5)
Scoring offense: 2nd (29.6)
Defensive rank: 10th (312.3)
Scoring defense: 11th (22.1)
NFC playoff picture: No. 8
Detroit's playoff probability percentage stands at 76 percent.
Quotable: "Man, I'm proud of the guys. We hung in there, we fought. We felt like the next series was going to be the one that we were going to get the upper hand, and we did," Lions head coach Dan Campbell said after Sunday's win over the Giants. "It's not easy to hang in a game like that when there's things that aren't going perfect. At the end of the day, when we need it most, guys show up. It wasn't perfect, there are things to clean up, certainly. Came down to the wire, had to win in overtime, but I'll take that win. That's a good win."
Twentyman: Teams should never have to apologize for a win in this league. With a short week and a monster matchup Thursday, the Lions have turned the page and have their full attention pointed towards the Packers. Detroit will have to play a much better game on both sides of the line of scrimmage than they did in that Week 1 loss at Lambeau Field if they hope to get a season series split with the Packers on Thanksgiving.
Next up: vs. Green Bay (7-3-1), Thurs., Nov. 27, 1 p.m.
MINNESOTA
Record: 4-7
Week 12 result: Green Bay 23, Minnesota 6
Offensive rank: 28th (282.6)
Scoring offense: 25th (20.4)
Defensive rank: 11th (314.8)
Scoring defense: 18th (23.2)
NFC playoff picture: No. 12
Minnesota's playoff probability percentage stands at 1 percent.
Quotable: "You're not going to come to Lambeau Field and win a game, especially playing like that in the second half," Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said after Sunday's loss in which his team totaled just four net yards of offense in the final 30 minutes.
Twentyman: McCarthy was placed in concussion protocol Monday after starting to develop symptoms on the travel home from Green Bay Sunday. McCarthy was sacked five times during the loss as the Packers were credited with 10 hits on McCarthy. Minnesota isn't getting consistent play from McCarthy this season and undrafted rookie Max Brosmer is the only other quarterback on the Vikings' 53-man roster. We'll have to see if McCarthy can clear concussion protocol this week before Sunday's game in Seattle.
