Quotable: "As ugly as it can be at times, I mean, this group's just proven time and time again that when it's close there in the fourth quarter that we're capable of finding a way," Bears head coach Ben Johnson told chicagobears.com after Sunday's come-from-behind win. "Really proud of the guys for how they fought there at the end."

Twentyman: The Bears led 16-3 entering the fourth quarter, gave up the lead with less than one minute remaining in the game, but rallied thanks to a Devin Duvernay 56-yard kickoff return following the Vikings touchdown to the Minnesota 40 and a Cairo Santos 48-yard field goal as time expired to win.

It's certainly not always pretty with Chicago, but Johnson's crew is finding ways to make enough winning plays late in games and that's all that counts in this league. Teams will never apologize for wins. The Bears improve to 7-3 with their third straight victory and seventh in the last eight games. Five of their wins this season have come via late fourth-quarter rallies. Is their defense good enough to keep them in the hunt in Nov. and Dec.? We shall see.

Next up: vs. Pittsburgh (6-4), Sun. Nov. 23, 1 p.m.

GREEN BAY

Record: 6-3-1

Week 10 result: Green Bay 27, New York Giants 20

Offensive rank: 12th (344.0)

Scoring offense: 13th (24.0)

Defensive rank: 6th (292.1)

Scoring defense: 7th (19.6)

NFC playoff picture: No. 6 seed

Green Bay's playoff probability percentage stands at 73 percent.

Quotable: "Obviously just extremely happy with the win," Packers head Coach Matt LaFleur told packers.com. "We definitely didn't make it easy on ourselves, but the bottom line is we overcame a lot of adversity and found a way, and sometimes that's what it takes in this league."

Twentyman: Both quarterback Jordan Love (shoulder) and running back Josh Jacobs (knee) left the game due to injury, though Love was able to return. Green Bay receivers dropped several passes and the Packers missed two extra points. It certainly wasn't pretty but like Chicago, Green Bay found a way to win late which keeps their hopes of an NFC North title very much alive. Love threw a couple touchdown passes, and backup Malik Willis had one too when Love left briefly with the injury. The Packers were 7-for-11 on third down as they were much better offensively than they've been in previous weeks.

Green Bay has an elite defense, and if their offense can continue to find ways to manufacture points, they'll be right there in the NFC North title picture.

Next up: vs. Minnesota (4-6), Sun., Nov. 23, 1 p.m.

DETROIT

Record: 6-4

Week 10 result: Philadelphia 16, Detroit 9

Offensive rank: 5th (366.9)

Scoring offense: 4th (29.2)

Defensive rank: 5th (291.8)

Scoring defense: 10th (21.6)

NFC playoff picture: No. 8 seed

Detroit's playoff probability percentage stands at 75 percent.

Quotable: "There's some things I wish I would've done differently," Lions head coach Dan Campbell said after Sunday's loss. "Look, the bottom line is, you obviously, if you go totally conservative in the way this game played out and the way it was, you got a better chance of winning that game than some of those decisions I made. I understand that, but also that's who we are. It's who I am, and it bit us today."

Twentyman: Sunday was one of those games for the Lions where they just couldn't come up with a play offensively when they needed it most on third or fourth down. Detroit was just 3-for-13 on third down and 0-for-5 on fourth down in what ended up being a one-score loss. Campbell is an aggressive coach but Sunday, it bit him a little bit in what ended up being a defensive battle with points coming at a premium. Just one of those conversions on fourth down could have been the difference.

The positive to take from Sunday is the way the defense played. They gave the Lions every opportunity to win that game. Detroit now returns to the friendly confines of Ford Field for three straight home games against the Giants, Packers and Cowboys in hopes of getting themselves right back in division title hunt and the playoff picture in the NFC.

Next up: vs. New York Giants (2-9), Sun., Nov. 23, 1 p.m.

MINNESOTA

Record: 4-6

Week 10 result: Chicago 19, Minnesota 17

Offensive rank: 27th (296.4)

Scoring offense: 22nd (21.8)

Defensive rank: 11th (317.5)

Scoring defense: 16th (23.2)

NFC playoff picture: No. 10 seed

Minnesota's playoff probability percentage stands at 5 percent.

Quotable: "There's a lot of things that I have to improve on, and accuracy is one of them, and I promise you, I'm going to wake up tomorrow and get ready to go, to get work on it," Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy said after going 16-of-32 passing for 150 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and a passer rating of 47.7 vs. Chicago Sunday. "There's a bunch of different things. I think mechanics is definitely a big part of it. There's just always a work-in-progress with everything at the quarterback position. So just gotta wake up tomorrow and get ready to get back to work."

Twentyman: There were several drops from Vikings pass catchers that would have made McCarthy's final numbers look a little better in the end, but he now has eight interceptions in just five games with a league-leading 5.7 interception percentage. His mechanics are are a little erratic sometimes when I watch him. If the Vikings don't get more consistency out of McCarthy, they'll find themselves too far out in both the division and the NFC to make a playoff push come December.
