Taking it all in: The Lions traded for former No. 2 overall pick Greg Robinson on Thursday and signed free-agent tackle Cyrus Kouandjo. Robinson and Kouandjio were both watching practice Thursday. Robinson spent most of the last minicamp practice standing right between Taylor Decker and offensive line coach Ron Prince trying to ask as many questions and take in as much advice as he could. Robinson and Kouandjio will both compete at left tackle when training camp starts. – *Tim Twentyman

Drop zone: It isn't unusual to have lapses on the last day of minicamp as players look ahead to their time off before the start of training camp. One of those lapses came in a red zone passing drill when tight end Darren Fells and wide receiver Ryan Spadola dropped passes. – Mike O'Hara
Four's a crowd: Who will end up winning the punt return duties in Detroit? We have an entire training camp and four preseason games before that decision is ultimately made, but four men in the running appear to be Jace Billingsley, TJ Jones, Keshawn Martin and Jamal Agnew. All four were back returning punts in Thursday's final minicamp practice. – Tim Twentyman
Prater's miss: Kicker Matt Prater has talked about how it takes him time to get into a groove working with the snapper and holder as opposed to kicking on his own. Prater was automatic kicking field goals Thursday – until he missed his last attempt. He showed his displeasure by yanking off his chin strap. – Mike O'Hara
College visit: Coaches from Penn State University, including co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach Tim Banks, took in Thursday's practice. The coaches spent time talking with Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin, who began his coaching career at Penn State, before practice. After practice, former Penn State player and current Lions defensive end, Anthony Zettel, ran over and chatted them up. – Tim Twentyman
