Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell spoke to the media Monday as the Lions prepare for the regular season finale in Chicago against the Bears Sunday at 4:25 p.m.
Here are all the key questions to come out of Campbell's media availability:
What is the mindset at the Meijer Performance Center this week heading into the last game of the season?
Every season every team is different, and this will be the final week the 2025 version of the Detroit Lions will be together. Campbell said Monday that fact hasn't been lost on him.
"We aren't where we want to be with one left," he said. "But in the same token this group of guys has laid it on the line and come to work every day and busted their tail and so really, you got one more to not let the guy next to you down."
With one game left on the schedule, even with the playoffs not a part of the equation, Campbell expects all the players and coaches to do their part this week preparing to play in Chicago Sunday and giving the Bears a fight.
"We have one more left," he said. "No, we're not playing for the playoffs but there are still things we can find out. And I expect the guys that we have here to give it what they have one more time."
Campbell said there's still a lot he'll be evaluating Sunday, including how players play knowing they have nothing to play for beyond that game. Some of those Week 18 evaluations could have offseason implications when the Lions start to build their 2026 roster.
Where does Campbell want to see a step up in play to end the season?
"There's a lot of areas, but I'd probably start with the O-line," he said. "Just want to see just a tick more, just a little bit better. See if we can polish some things up, work together, work our combinations just a little better."
Speaking of the offensive line, how has Campbell liked the development of rookie guard Tate Ratledge?
Ratledge has started 16 games at right guard and played over 1,000 snaps, the most by any rookie on the roster. Campbell said he's seen growth in Ratledge, who has allowed one sack and nine quarterback hits this season, and that's really what a coach wants to see out of first-year players who see a lot of playing time early in their career.
There's a ton of growth left with Ratledge, and he will need to take another step heading into his second season in 2026. Campbell said moving Ratledge to center next year isn't off the table and will depend on what else happens this offseason.

Will the full roster be available Sunday against the Bears?
There will be an evaluation throughout the week of players dealing with injuries, and Campbell said they will probably lean toward being more cautious with players who end up questionable on Friday's injury report.
If a player is held out due to injury, it will be next best player up and they won't force trying to play younger players who haven't gotten as much opportunity this season.
How have the Bears changed since Detroit's 52-21 win over Chicago in Detroit Week 2?
Chicago is much more polished on both sides of the football, per Campbell.
Since that Week 2 matchup, the Bears lead the league in takeaways (32) which has been a huge catalyst in a lot of the close wins they've had this year. Chicago's plus-22 turnover differential is No. 1 in the league and eight better than Houston at plus-14.
"They are getting them, man," Campbell said of the turnovers. "It's like we've talked about, it's contagious with them."
Offensively, Campbell said some of the little errors that were there in Week 2 have gone away as they've gotten more comfortable with Bears head coach Ben Johnson's scheme. Campbell said the run game and the play action pass off of it have been particularly good in tandem with good O-line play. It will be a tough challenge for Detroit's defense.
