The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Green Bay Packers Sunday, 16-3, to guarantee themselves third place in the NFC North. No matter what happens in the Lions-Bears game Sunday afternoon, the Lions can't finish any better than fourth in the division because of Minnesota's season sweep of Detroit.
That means the Lions' 2026 opponents are set.
The Lions will play their three division rivals â Minnesota, Green Bay and Chicago â once at home and once on the road. The NFC North will face all four teams in the NFC South and AFC East divisions next season.
By finishing in fourth place in the NFC North, Detroit's 2026 schedule will include matchups against the fourth-place teams in the AFC South (Tennessee), NFC East (New York Giants) and NFC West (Arizona).
Home games: Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, New England, New York Jets, Tennessee, New York Giants
Road games: Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Atlanta, Buffalo, Carolina, Miami, Arizona
