CHICAGO â The Detroit Lions will be without several key starters today as they try to snap a three-game losing streak and finish their season on a positive note in the season finale against the Chicago Bears.
Detroit will be without right tackle Penei Sewell (ankle), linebacker Alex Anzalone (concussion/personal), safety Thomas Harper (concussion) and defensive lineman Alim McNeill (abdomen) who were all ruled out on Friday's injury report.
It will be the first game all season the Lions won't have Sewell or Anzalone in the lineup. Detroit could turn to Dan Skipper and Malcolm Rodriguez to fill those roles in the starting lineup.
Of the four players the Lions listed as questionable to play today, only offensive lineman Kayode Awosika is inactive with an illness.
Left tackle Taylor Decker, guard Christian Mahogany and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown are all active.
"I feel solid," St. Brown said Thursday. "I would say a little banged up but good enough to go and that's all that really matters."
Joining Sewell, Anzalone, McNeill, Harper and Awosika on Detroit's inactive list today in Chicago is wide receiver Dominic Lovett.
