Lions place WR Marvin Jones Jr. on Reserve-Injured

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have placed WR Marvin Jones Jr. (knee) on Reserve-Injured and signed LB Nicholas Grigsby to the active roster from the practice squad.

In addition, the Lions also signed free agent DE Eric Lee to the practice squad.

Currently in his fourth NFL season, Grigsby spent a stint on the Lions practice squad after appearing in nine games for the New England Patriots earlier this season. He has recorded four total tackles (three solo) in 21 career games. He originally entered the NFL in 2016 with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh.

Lee returns to Detroit after beginning the season on the club's practice squad, before appearing in five games for the team as a member of the active roster. He originally entered the NFL in 2016 with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida. In 11 career games (five starts), his career totals include 21 total tackles (11 solo), 3.5 sacks and one interception.
