KEY QUESTIONS: What do Lions need to improve down the stretch?

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell spoke to the media Saturday following Detroit's 31-24 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving.

Here are all the key questions from Campbell's Saturday media session:

What is the latest update on Frank Ragnow?

Ragnow was at the Meijer Performance Center Friday going through the normal process of meetings.

A medical examination revealed a Grade 3 hamstring strain that will keep Ragnow from joining the team for the remainder of the season.

"Of course we're disappointed. Just because Frank is such a good dude and great teammate and he's a productive player," Campbell said. "At the same time, he's injured, and so you quickly move off of that and know what it is. He's not playing. It's all good. We adjust, move on and we're on to Dallas now."

Campbell said Ragnow's future beyond this season has not been discussed.

How did Campbell think Trystan Colon played at center vs. Green Bay?

Campbell thought Colon, who was starting for the injured Graham Glasgow (knee), did some good things against the Packers in terms of the energy he brought and his identification of the defense and the rush. Colon's performance was a little but up and down based off the tape, per Campbell, but he expects it to be more consistent with the more reps he's asked to play.

Asked about Glasgow's health, Campbell said Glasgow is feeling better but he doesn't have an update on his playing status.

Is there an update on the ankle injury that knocked wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown out of Thursday's contest in the first quarter?

"I do think long-term, it sounds like it's good news but there again, what is long-term?" Campbell said. "I don't know what that means for a week or two right now with him. It's really a day-to-day thing but beyond that, we feel like this is something that will calm down and be OK long-term, which is good news."

What do Lions need to improve most down the stretch?

Campbell talked Saturday about a lack of discipline and lack of attention to detail as something that frustrated him about Thursday's loss. It's something that's been an issue over the last month with Detroit's inconsistent performance over that span.

Detroit had 10 players on the field on defense for a third-down play and were also flagged for having too many men on the field on a separate occasion. They were also flagged for two formation penalties on offense.

"I think ultimately where we have to get better collectively as a team, in all three phases, which I'm responsible for, is our detail and our discipline," Campbell said. "That's what's bitten us here a little bit.

"I think all the little things we talk about, and it really is those two words – detail and discipline. We have to be so much better, a ton better than we've been. We're too inconsistent right now."

Campbell said the personnel and formation penalties that popped up Thursday were frustrating and those are the little things that can get a team beat if not executed properly.

"That's part of being disciplined and there again, I'm totally responsible for those," Campbell said. "That's on my watch and it's not OK. It's not OK we had 10 or 12 or lined up wrong and I'm responsible for all of it. So, we have not been detailed enough."

Campbell said it's something he plans on hitting head on this week.
