Lions sign unrestricted free agent CB Johnson Bademosi

Allen Park, Mich. -The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed unrestricted free agent CB Johnson Bademosi. Contract terms were not disclosed.

A four-year (2012-15) cornerback and standout on special teams for the Cleveland Browns, Bademosi joins the Lions in 2016 after co-leading the NFL in total special teams tackles last season with 17 (12 solo). He led the Browns in special teams tackles (co-led in 2014) each of his four seasons in Cleveland, and his 61 special teams tackles since 2012 rank second in the NFL during that span behind only Arizona CB Justin Bethel (64).

The Silver Spring, Md. native out of Stanford entered the NFL ranks as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Browns in 2012. His career totals include 62 games, 13 total tackles, three pass defenses and 61 special teams tackles.
