Lions sign OL Chase Farris to practice squad, release RB George Winn

Allen Park, Mich. –The Detroit Lions announced Friday that they have signed OL Chase Farris to the team's practice squad and released RB George Winn. Contract terms were not disclosed.

Farris (6-4, 300) returns to the Lions after originally signing with the team earlier this year as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Ohio State. A native of Elyria, Ohio, he saw action in Detroit's first three preseason games this season.
