Lions sign free agent TE Wes Saxton

Allen Park, Mich. –The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent TE Wes Saxton. Contract terms were not disclosed.

Saxton comes to Detroit after spending part of the 2017 season with the Buffalo Bills. He was a member of the Washington Redskins and New York Jets practice squads in 2016 after entering the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent out of South Alabama in 2015.
