Lions re-sign WR Aaron Dobson

Allen Park, Mich. –The Detroit Lions announced today that they have re-signed WR Aaron Dobson. Contract terms were not disclosed.

In addition, the Lions also re-signed LB Zaviar Gooden to the team's practice squad.

Dobson rejoins the Lions receiving corps following a three-year stint with the New England Patriots (2013-15). He appeared in eight games (three starts) last season for New England and finished with 13 receptions for 141 yards.

Drafted by the Patriots in the second round (59th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Marshall, Dobson has played in 24 career games (13 starts). His career totals include 53 receptions for 698 yards and four touchdowns.
