Lions awarded T Dan Skipper via waivers from Houston Texans

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they were awarded T Dan Skipper via waivers from the Houston Texans. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.

In a corresponding move, the Lions also announced that they have placed DT Kevin Strong on Reserve/Injured.

Skipper joins the Lions after spending time with the Houston Texans and New England Patriots earlier this season. Skipper has also been a member of the Dallas Cowboys (2017) and Denver Broncos (2018) practice squads, and the Detroit Lions (2017-18). He has appeared in four career games.

He originally entered the League with the Cowboys as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2017 out of Arkansas.
