Allen Park, Mich. –The Detroit Lions announced today that they have been awarded DT Rodney Coe via waivers from the Seattle Seahawks and have waived DE Kasim Edebali.
Coe joins the Lions after most recently spending time as a member of Seattle's practice squad and active roster this season, where he appeared in one game. Prior to this season, he spent a portion of 2016 with both the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squads. Currently in his second season, Coe originally entered the NFL as undrafted free agent in 2016 with the Dallas Cowboys out of Akron.
