Lions acquire G Caleb Benenoch via waivers from Dallas Cowboys

Allen Park, Mich.— The Detroit Lions announced today that they have acquired G Caleb Benenoch via waivers from the Dallas Cowboys. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.

Detroit also announced that they have placed DT Mike Daniels and G Kenny Wiggins on Reserve/Injured.

Currently in his fourth season, Benenoch has appeared in 35 career games (22 starts). Prior to Dallas, he has spent time in 2019 with the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was originally drafted by Tampa Bay in the fifth-round (148th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft out of UCLA.
