INACTIVES: Lions vs. Vikings

The Detroit Lions ruled out safety Kerby Joseph (knee) and running back Craig Reynolds (hamstring) for today's NFC North matchup against the Minnesota Vikings at Ford Field.

Left tackle Taylor Decker, cornerback Avonte Maddox and running back Sione Vaki were all listed as questionable on Friday's injury report but all three are active today.

Decker's been playing through a shoulder injury that cost him a couple games earlier this year but he was able to practice in full on Thursday. His presence on the left side will be key today facing a Vikings' defense that leads the NFL in blitz percentage.

The veteran Maddox has the ability to play both nickel and safety which gives Detroit starting potential and depth in both spots. Vaki is one of Detroit's top special teams players and his return will give those units a big boost.

Joining Joseph and Reynolds on Detroit's inactive list today are safety Jammie Robinson, safety Erick Hallett II, defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson and defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo.
