Allen Park, Mich. –The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed unrestricted free agent C Wesley Johnson. Contract terms were not disclosed.
Entering his fifth season, Johnson comes to Detroit after spending three years (2015-17) with the New York Jets, where he started in 15 games in 2017. A fifth-round selection by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2014 NFL Draft out of Vanderbilt, Johnson has appeared in 41 total career games with 24 starts.
