TWENTYMAN: 5 pro days to watch this week

5. Kansas State, Tues., March 10

Who to watch: Who will be the first center drafted next month? Kansas State's Sam Hecht is certainly in the conversation. His technique is flawless, but he could stand to test a little better in some areas measuring athleticism. Getting his 40-yard dash time of 5.1 under 5.0 with a little better split (1.73) could benefit him.

NFL draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah thinks we'll start seeing centers like Hecht come off the board late in the second round and into the third round.

4. Arkansas, Fri., March 13

Who to watch: It's not a particularly strong class of quarterbacks in this year's draft but there are some interesting prospects. Arkansas' Taylen Green measures in at 6-foot-6, 227 pounds and put on a show at the Combine, running the 40 in 4.36 seconds to go along with a 43.5-inch vertical and 11-foot-2 broad jump. The athleticism is there. Can he stand in the pocket and deliver accurate throws on time and be a good decision maker?

Green had 59 career touchdowns but 35 career interceptions. The throwing session and the team interviews will be crucial for teams deciding whether to use a Day 3 selection on a developmental player with a lot of upside.

3. Oklahoma, Thurs., March 12

Who to watch: R Mason Thomas (6-2, 241) is a rush linebacker who recorded 22.0 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks for the Sooners over the last two seasons combined. He ran 4.67 seconds in the 40 at the Combine with a good 1.63-second 10-yard split. Can he get that 40 time in the lower 4.6 range at his pro day? He also must test in the vertical, broad jump and bench press.

Also keep an eye on: WR Deion Burks, LB Owen Heinecke, DT Gracen Halton, S Robert Spears-Jennings, DT Damonic Williams, LB Kendal Daniels, TE Jaren Kanak, G Febechi Nwaiwu, EDGE Marvin Jones Jr.

2. USC, Thurs., March 12

Who to watch: Could Makai Lemon be the first wide receiver taken in the draft? Or will it be Ohio State's Carnell Tate? Lemon has drawn comparisons to fellow former USC star and current Lions All-Pro WR Amon-Ra St. Brown. Lemon opted to wait until USC's Pro Day to do all his athletic testing, so this is a big day for him.

Also keep an eye on: WR Ja'Kobi Lane, S Kamari Ramsey, S Bishop Fitzgerald, TE Lake McRee, LB Eric Gentry, EDGE Anthony Lucas

1. Clemson, Thurs., March 12

Who to watch: Avieon Terrell is hoping to be in the first group of cornerbacks off the board in the first round of the draft. Terrell has position versatility and showed good athletic traits at the Combine with a 34-inch vertical and 10-foot-3 broad jump. The only thing left for him to do is run his 40-yard dash at Clemson's Pro Day so teams have an idea of his long speed.

Also keep an eye on: DT Peter Woods, EDGE T.J. Parker, T Blake Miller, WR Antonio Williams, DT DeMonte Capehart, RB Adam Randall, QB Cade Klubnik, LB Wade Woodaz
