Lions to participate in joint practices with Raiders and Giants

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they will participate in joint training camp practices with the Oakland Raiders and New York Giants prior to their Preseason Week 1 and Week 2 games.

Detroit will practice with Oakland on Tuesday, Aug. 7 and Wednesday, Aug. 8 at the Raiders' training camp home in Napa, Calif. The Lions and Raiders open the 2018 preseason schedule on Friday, August 10 with a 10:30 ET kickoff at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.

In Preseason Week 2, the Lions will host the Giants Tuesday, Aug. 14 through Thursday, Aug. 16 for joint practices at Detroit's headquarters and training facility in Allen Park. The Lions open their home preseason slate against the Giants on Friday, August 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Ford Field.

More information regarding the Lions' joint training camp practices with the Raiders and Giants will be announced at a later date.
