Lions sign QB Connor Cook to Reserve-Future contract

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed QB Connor Cook to a Reserve-Future contract. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.

Cook comes to Detroit after most recently spending time as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers practice squads in 2018. He entered the NFL as a fourth-round draft selection with the Oakland Raiders in 2016 out of Michigan State. As a rookie in Oakland, he saw action in one regular season game and one postseason game.
