Allen Park, Mich. –The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed LB Thurston Armbrister to the active roster from the practice squad and placed G Zac Kerin (knee) on Reserve-Injured.
In addition, the Lions announced today that they have signed WR Andy Jones to the practice squad
Jones comes to Detroit after beginning the 2017 season with the Houston Texans. He was acquired by Houston via waivers from the Dallas Cowboys and appeared in his first-career game in the team's regular season opener against Jacksonville. An undrafted rookie free agent with the Cowboys out of Jacksonville University in 2016, Jones spent his rookie season as a member of the Cowboys practice squad.
