Lions sign free agent QB Luis Perez

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent QB Luis Perez and released QB David Fales. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.

Perez comes to Detroit after spending a portion of the offseason with the Philadelphia Eagles and with the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football. He originally entered the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams in 2018 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Texas A&M-Commerce and spent time on their practice squad last season.
