Lions sign free agent DT Ray Smith to practice squad

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent DT Ray Smith to the practice squad and released DE Jonathan Wynn from the practice squad. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.

Smith returns to the Lions after spending the preseason with the team. He was originally signed by Detroit as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Boston College following the completion of the 2019 NFL Draft.
