Lions sign free agent DT Olive Sagapolu

Allen Park, Mich.— The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent DT Olive Sagapolu and placed FB Nick Bawden on the Reserve/Injured list. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.

Sagapolu returns to the Lions after spending a portion of training camp with the team. He originally signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Wisconsin following the 2019 NFL Draft before joining Detroit's practice squad late last season.
