Lions place TE Tim Wright on Reserve/Injured

Allen Park, Mich. –The Detroit Lions announced today that they have placed TE Tim Wright on Reserve/Injured due to a knee injury (torn ACL).

Wright was acquired via trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015 and appeared in nine games (one start) for the Lions last season, finishing with nine receptions for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Originally signed by the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers in 2013, Wright's career totals include 41 games (11 starts), 89 receptions, 907 yards and 13 touchdowns.
