Lions place CB Jamal Agnew on Reserve-Injured and sign LB Trevor Bates to active roster

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have placed CB Jamal Agnew (knee) on Reserve-Injured and signed LB Trevor Bates to the active roster from the practice squad.

In addition, the team also announced that they have signed free agent LB Garret Dooley to the practice squad.

Bates originally joined the Lions during the 2018 offseason before being signed to the practice squad in September. His previous experience includes stints with the New York Giants (2017), New England Patriots (2016-17) and Indianapolis Colts (2016). After originally entering the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Colts in 2016 out of Maine, he appeared in one game as a rookie.
