Lions awarded DT Caushaud Lyons via waivers from the Rams

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they were awarded DT Caushaud Lyons via waivers from the Los Angeles Rams and have waived TE Andrew Price.

Lyons comes to Detroit after most recently spending a portion of the 2017 preseason with the Rams, where he appeared in one game.

Prior to this season, Lyons spent the 2016 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a member of the practice squad. He entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Tusculum College with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015.
