After a 37-24 victory over the Bengals in Cincinnati, the Detroit Lions are on the road again with a Sunday Night Football matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Detroit is looking for their fifth straight win, while Kansas City (2-3) hopes to get back to .500.
Last week: The Chiefs lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, 31-28, in a back-and-forth Monday Night Football game that came down to a Jacksonville touchdown in the last 23 seconds.
History: Kansas City leads the all-time series over Detroit, 9-6. In their last meeting, the Lions opened the 2023 NFL season with a 21-20 victory over the then reigning Super bowl champions.
Storyline to watch: The Chiefs come into Sunday night's game 2-3, with all three losses within one score.
The last time the Chiefs were 2-3 to begin a season, they finished 12-5 and won their division, falling in overtime to the Bengals in the conference title game.
