Lions sign CB Cre'Von LeBlanc to active roster from practice squad

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed CB Cre'Von LeBlanc to the active roster from the practice squad and waived TE Hakeem Valles.

In addition, the Lions signed CB Dee Virgin to the practice squad and released S Rolan Mlligan.

LeBlanc came to Detroit as a member of the practice squad earlier this season following a two-year stint with the Chicago Bears (2016-17). He entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with the New England Patriots in 2016 out of Florida Atlantic.

Virgin returns to Detroit after originally joining the Lions via waivers from the Houston Texans on September 2. He appeared in three of the Lions' first four games this season, where he recorded one special teams tackle.
