Lions hire Bo Davis as defensive line coach

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today the following update to the coaching staff:

BO DAVIS – DEFENSIVE LINE
A 24-year coaching veteran, Davis has coached collegiately, including stops at Alabama (2014-15, 2007-10), Texas (2011-13) and most recently coaching the defensive line at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2017. His previous NFL stops include time with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2016) where he worked as a defensive intern and the Miami Dolphins (2006) as an assistant defensive line coach. Davis began his coaching career in 1995 as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Louisiana State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in education after playing for the Tigers from 1990-92.
