Biography
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
- Signed with the Detroit Lions in 2025 after playing with the Dallas Cowboys for two seasons (2023-24).
- Appeared in 20 games with the Cowboys, producing eight total tackles (one solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, and 0.5 sack.
COLLEGE:
- Played two seasons at Copiah-Lincoln Community College (2018-19) and three seasons and Mississippi State (2020-22). During his time at Mississippi, Wheat played and started in 34 games, logging 129 tackles (57 solo), 28.0 tackles for loss, 18.5 sacks, six pass defenses, three forced fumbles, and three interceptions.
