LEARN MORE ABOUT THE UNIQUE DETROIT ACTIVITIES SURROUNDING THE QUICK LANE BOWL

HENRY FORD MUSEUM OF AMERICAN INNOVATION ™

Detroit gives a formal warm welcome to the teams, travel party, PAL families & VIP sponsors as they arrive at the Henry Ford Museum for a welcome dinner. They first gather in the Anderson Theatre for a short VIP football panel discussion, then head into the Museum for a buffet dinner as well as desserts. After dinner, everyone is invited to privately tour the historical Museum.

GLEANERS COMMUNITY FOOD BAND OF SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN

Lending a helping hand, the teams of the Quick Lane Bowl, are able to make a difference at Gleaners Community Food Bank. Gleaners distributes food for more than 90,000 meals each day to more than 550 partner agencies in five southeast Michigan counties. Players, coaches and staff support packing and producing to support school-based mobile pantries. Gleaners also works closely with schools to help keep children from falling behind due to hunger. Teams participating in the Quick Lane Bowl help to provide food to kids which leads them to active, healthy lives, and for that, we thank them for their actions

FOWLING WAREHOUSE

Upon arrival, the two teams will gather for an evening of fun with a trip to the Fowling Warehouse. The football bowling pin game known as Fowling™, is a hybrid game that combines elements of football, bowling and horseshoes. The object of the game is for teams to be the first to knock down all their opponent's pins by throwing a football at 10 bowling pins. Who will be the next Quick Lane Bowl Fowling Winner?

TRAVEL PARTY EVENTS

As the teams and coaching staff work to prepare themselves for a great game of football, the Quick Lane Bowl looks to take care of the traveling families. Carefully selected, there are multiple events held throughout the weekend at a few of the most unique places in Detroit.

Christmas day usually begins with ice skating at Campus Martius, next to our city's 60-foot Holiday Tree! Other events have included exploring the Detroit Institute of Art, Michigan Science Center, DNR Outdoor Adventure, and The Parade Company. Holiday shopping and creating a new best friend at Build A Bear are also a part of the trips to the Somerset Collection.
