The NFL released the 2025 schedule last week, giving us all a chance to sit back and look it over for division games, primetime matchups and yearly traditions.
There's a lot of excitement for the Lions this year with 12 nationally-televised games.
Which game are you looking forward to most? I asked the Detroitlions.com crew, and here's what they had to say:
Tim Twentyman: Week 3 at Baltimore
The first primetime game on Detroit's 2025 regular-season slate comes on the road on Monday Night Football against the 2024 AFC North champion Ravens. The last time Detroit was in Baltimore, the Ravens outmatched the Lions, 38-6, back in 2023. It will be a terrific early-season test for new Lions defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard as the Ravens were No. 1 in total offense, No. 3 in points scored and No. 1 in rushing yards last season.
Dannie Rogers: Week 10 at Washington
The NFL wasn't kidding when it said Detroit will have the third-toughest schedule this season. Lions can't take a week off, but I'm especially looking forward to the Week 10 matchup at Washington. The Commanders will always feel like a revenge game after ending Detroit's season in the Divisional Round last year. With a heap of matchups coming directly after in the Eagles, Packers and Cowboys, Detroit needs to know exactly who they are by this time, and that stretch starting after the bye will be telling for how their regular season finishes.
Cole Bambini: Week 17 at Minnesota
Merry Christmas from Minneapolis! For the first time since 1999, Detroit plays on both Thanksgiving and Christmas, and this second matchup between the Lions and Vikings could have massive NFC playoff implications. Detroit has won two straight at U.S. Bank Stadium, and this will be an important test for the Lions as it's the first of two road NFC North games to close the season. Detroit has a prime opportunity to spoil the holiday for their rival, but more importantly make an impact on their own postseason status.

Editor's Pick: Week 11 at Philadelphia
The Lions have Super Bowl aspirations, and to be the best you have to beat the best. The Lions will have that opportunity Week 11 when they face the reigning Super Bowl Champion Eagles in Philadelphia for Sunday Night Football. Get your popcorn ready. This should be a monster NFC matchup in primetime.
