Players help students compete for cooking scholarship

The Detroit Lions Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging council hosted their first Black History Month Conversations series featuring panel discussions highlighting the experience of former NFL players and current sports business professionals.

High school students got the chance to visit several Black-owned businesses around the city in partnership with the Detroit Lions and AAA.

Players, Roary, and cheer went shopping with kids from Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan for Christmas gifts at Meijer. Roary, cheer and staff also surprised students at Detroit Lions Academy with personalized Christmas gifts at our annual Presents from the Pride event.
