Todd Argust enters his 12th season with the Detroit Lions in 2025 and fourth as Senior Vice President, Facilities. Argust was promoted to his current role in 2022, which includes the oversight of facility & security operations at both the Meijer Performance Center and Ford Field. Argust plays a vital role in managing gameday operations for all Ford Field Events and Training Camp, and was instrumental in helping the Lions achieve the #1 ranking for the 2023 season among all NFL teams for Overall Gameday Satisfaction through the NFL's "Voice of the Fan" surveys.
Argust spent his first eight years with the Lions as the Vice President of Operations after joining the organization in 2014, where he was responsible for facilities, security and operations at Ford Field. Prior to coming to Detroit, he spent 14 years with the Cleveland Browns in Stadium Operations. Before Cleveland, he worked at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Argust was the recipient of the Detroit Lions' President Award in 2017 after successfully managing the $100 million renovation of Ford Field. He is a board member for the Detroit Public Safety Foundation. Argust also serves as the NFL's Gameday Operations Designee for Ford Field and represents the organization for the Detroit/Wayne County Stadium Authority.
He has a bachelor's degree in political science from Allegheny College (Meadville, Pa.) as well as a master's degree in sport management from West Virginia University. Argust was an NCAA All-American swimmer in college and finished 1st in his age group in the 200 Freestyle at the 2025 Michigan Masters State Championship Meet. He also completed the Motor City Half Marathon in 2024. He resides in Plymouth, Mich., with his wife Elizabeth, and they have four children.
