Brett Fischer enters his second season with the Detroit Lions after joining the organization in 2023 as the team's director of player health and performance.
In his role, Fischer oversees all aspects of the team's medical operation and works in partnership with Lions Director of Sports Performance Mike Clark to develop comprehensive plans for the health and performance of Lions players.
Fischer comes to Detroit after serving as a physical therapist consultant for the Arizona Cardinals from 2008-23. He is also the founder and owner of the Fischer Institute in Phoenix, which provides performance training and rehab to professional athletes across the major sports leagues.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Fischer has also worked with the New York Jets, PGA & Senior PGA Tour and Chicago Cubs. He won a Sports Emmy in 2013 for his work with NFL UP!.
