Allen Park, Mich. –The Detroit Lions announced today that they have waived WR Damian Copeland and signed undrafted rookie free agent WR Alex Chisum. Contract terms were not disclosed.
Chisum joins the Lions following a four-year career at Cincinnati (2011-12, 2014-15) where he missed only the 2013 season as a medical redshirt. In 51 games for the Bearcats, the Fayetteville, Ga. native logged 88 receptions for 1,159 yards and five touchdowns.
