Lions trade WR Golden Tate to the Philadelphia Eagles

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have traded WR Golden Tate to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a third-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.

After entering the NFL as a second-round draft selection with the Seattle Seahawks in 2010 out of Notre Dame, Tate joined the Lions as an unrestricted free agent in 2014 and appeared in 71 games (64 starts) for Detroit. His career totals with the Lions include 416 receptions, 4,741 yards and 22 touchdowns.
