Lions place LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin on Reserve-Injured

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have placed LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin (neck) on Reserve-Injured.

In addition, the Lions announced that they have signed DE Eric Lee from the practice squad to the active roster and have signed free agent DT John Atkins to the practice squad.

Lee originally joined the Lions as a member of the club's practice squad in September before being signed to the active roster and appearing in five games for Detroit this season. He originally entered the NFL with the Houston Texans in 2016 as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida. He has appeared in 11 career games (five starts) and recorded 21 total tackles (11 solo), 3.5 sacks and one interception.

Atkins returns to Detroit after spending a portion of this season on the team's practice squad. Currently in his rookie season, Atkins entered the NFL with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia.
