Transportation

Higher traffic volume is expected in the Munich area during the week leading into NFL game day on Sunday, November 15. Fans visiting Detroit Lions Fan Fest at Odeonsplatz on Friday, November 13 or Saturday, November 14, are highly encouraged to plan ahead and utilize public transportation (U-Bahn) or rideshare services (Freenow by Lyft) when planning their route for arrival.

Parking is extremely limited in the area and only available on first come, first served basis. All fans are strongly encouraged to allow extra time for travel and use public transportation or rideshare services whenever possible. See below for more helpful information regarding transportation!

  • U-Bahn Train - Odeonsplatz is easily accessible by Munich's U-Bahn system. Fans can take the U3, U4, U5 or U6 to Odeonsplatz Station, located just steps from Fan Fest. Fans traveling from Munich Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) can take the U4 or U5 to Odeonsplatz.
  • Freenow by Lyft - Keep an eye out for dedicated fan drop off and pick up zones brought to you by Freenow!
