Biography

Joins the Lions after establishing himself as a key contributor on special teams. He provides depth and veteran experience to the linebacker corps after stints with the 49ers (2015-16) and Jets 2011-14).  In his first five seasons (2011-15), Bellore logged a tackle on special teams in at least eight regular season games per year.  Entered the NFL in 2011 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Central Michigan.

2013: Recorded 17 total special teams tackles in 16 games.

2012: Recovered his first-career fumble recovery in Week 17 at Buffalo (12/30).

2011: Posted 17 total special teams tackles as a rookie.

Earned First-Team All-MAC recognition three times at Central Michigan (2008-10).

Prior to enrolling at Central Michigan, attended Whitefish Bay (Wis.) High School where he was a three-year letterman and two-year captain.
