Brett Fischer joined the Detroit Lions organization in February 2023 as the team's director of player health and performance.
Fischer comes to Detroit after serving as a physical therapist consultant for the Arizona Cardinals from 2008-2023. In his role with the Lions, Fischer oversees all aspects of the team's medical operation and works in partnership with Lions Director of Sports Performance Mike Clark to develop comprehensive plans for the health and performance of Lions players.
Fischer is also the founder and owner of the Fischer Institute in Phoenix, which provides performance training and rehab to professional athletes across the major sports leagues.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Fischer has also worked with the New York Jets, PGA & Senior PGA Tour and Chicago Cubs. He won a Sports Emmy in 2013 for his work with NFL UP!.
