Biography

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

Started in all 14 games in which he appeared in 2024, recording 25 tackles (17 solo), seven tackles for loss, seven quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks, one pass defense and one forced fumble.
In 2023, he became Detroit's first interior defensive lineman to produce 5.0 sacks in a season since Ndamukong Suh in 2014.
Totaled 2.0 sacks and a pass defense vs. Las Vegas (10/30/23), becoming the first interior defensive lineman to do so for Detroit since Shaun Rogers in 2007.
In Week 11 at the New York Giants (11/20/22), he became Detroit's first interior lineman to produce a game with three tackles for loss and 1.0 sack since Caraun Reid in 2015.
Posted his first-career sack in Week 14 at Denver (12/12/21).
Joined the Lions as a third-round selection (72nd overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft out of N.C. State.

COLLEGE:

Played three seasons at N.C. State (2018-20), producing career totals of 77 tackles, 10.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception.
2020: Logged 25 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and one interception, which he returned for a touchdown.

Rushed for 18 touchdowns at Sanderson and added 18.0 sacks in his career.
Was a three-time all-conference selection as a baseball player at Sanderson, collected 43 career runs scored and batted .355 as a senior.
