One Pride – One Coat!
Join us for our 2026 Winter Coat Drive before the Minnesota Vikings game on November 1st!
The Detroit Lions are hosting a winter coat drive on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
In partnership with One Warm Coat and the Pope Francis Center, fans are encouraged to donate new or gently used, clean winter coats at designated collection bins near stadium entrances before entering the game. Donated coats will benefit the Pope Francis Center, helping provide warmth and support to community members in need.
One Pride, it's time to come together!
Why is this coat drive important?
Poverty Rate: Over 31% of Detroit residents live below the federal poverty line, roughly triple the national average.*
Child Poverty: More than half (51%) of Detroit's children live in poverty, making youth winter coats one of the highest local demands.*
Severe Winters: Temperatures will soon drop below freezing along with snow and wind chills, making a winter coat a health and survival necessity rather than a luxury.
How to Support the Coat Drive:
Bring your coats to the game and drop them in donation bins located outside of Ford Field entrances.
Make a donation to the Detroit Lions Foundation to support the coat drive.
