Morris Henry enters his third season with the Lions in 2022 as the club's assistant strength & conditioning coach.
Prior to coming to Detroit, Henry spent four seasons (2016-19) with the Auburn Tigers' football program as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Before his time at Auburn, Henry worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Tulsa, where he trained student-athletes in the football, golf, tennis and throwing programs.
He attended Morehead State University where earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science and was also a four-year defensive back for the Eagles. As an undergrad, Henry completed an internship at the EXOS training facility in Pensacola, Fla.
Henry is certified in Precision Nutrition Level 1, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR) Level 1 and 2, and also holds USA-W and CSCS certifications.
