Kyle Caskey joins the Lions as the running backs coach after most recently spending the past nine seasons (2010-18) with the Cincinnati Bengals in various capacities. Caskey entered the NFL coaching ranks with the Bengals in 2010 in an offensive quality control role, before adding assistant offensive line coaching duties to his role from 2012-13. He was named Cincinnati's running backs coach in 2014. In his first season as the club's position coach, the Bengals ranked sixth in the NFL in rushing (134.2), the club's best offensive rushing ranking since 2000. Additionally, Bengals rookie RB Jeremy Hill rushed for 1,124 yards (5.1 avg), the highest by a primary Bengals rusher since James Brooks in 1990.
